5G-LOGINNOV project has conquered the spotlight during today’s SIS 96 at the ITS WORLD CONGRESS.
The afternoon session has been moderated by Dr. Eusebio Catana, ERTICO – ITS Europe, Belgium. He opened the discussion enhancing the importance of implementing CAD and 5G technologies, considering the existence of logistic challenges and the emergence of new markets.
The first speaker taking the floor was Pekka Eloranta, Spotwise Oy, Finland. He presented the Shared Automation Operating Models for Worldwide Adoption – SHOW – that aims at supporting the deployment of shared, connected and electrified automated vehicles in urban transport, to advance sustainable urban mobility. 5G, G5 and IoT technologies will support the deployment phase and real-life urban demonstration will take place in 20 cities in Europe.
